airmon-ng giving no interface Empty airmon-ng giving no interface

Hi I am KoMa, From Belarus Maybe my english is not that gud But........My problem is that the command ''airmon-ng'' is giving me no interface no driver.... my back track is connected to internet and i can use firefox..... as i understand : no interface showing mean backtrack did not find my wifi devise... im using a router I hope i have here a helpful answer 10x. bounce

Hey there are two possibilities, one is that your card is not compatible with backtrack, the other possibility is that the card is compatible and you may need to download the drivers/install, or remove the card from the blacklist Smile

How do you have you Linux box connected?

If its VMware, remember that integrated wifi cards will not work. That is a VMware problem not Linux.

What kind of wifi card do you have? Is it usb or integrated?
